Sugar Puffs enters cereal bars sector

For the first time, Honey Monster Foods is taking Sugar Puffs into the cereal bar sector.
Monster Puffs bars, in their new milk and chocolate flavours, are positioned as an alternative to crisps and chocolate. They come in a range of single 20g bars priced 45p, or in £1.49 multipacks of four bars with each bar of 84 calories.
“Consumers have been asking for a Sugar Puffs bar for years,” said marketing manager John Price. “People are looking for on-the-go foods that provide a healthier option.”
Michelle Williams from Artemis Solutions Group who specialise in recruiting for the Food and Beverages Sector said “Sugar Puffs entry in cereal bars sector was overdue. It will be interesting to watch where they go with this new step.”
